Please accept my humble obeissances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
First, please excuse my English as French is my first language.
As far as I can tell by the result, the book changes didn't bring more devotees than what we had in the earlier days. I don't think any one can be on a platform to decide that Srila Prabhupada was wrong in words or action. He read his own books so many times and never changed them.
So why do we, as his own devotees, would think of having mastered the mind of the pure devotee and think that we are good enough to change even one word of what He wrote!
Milk touch by the lips of a serpent is as poisonous as the bite of the snake. To read the changed version for me is just approving of all the injustices done by Iskcon to women, youth and followers by those supposed to be good enough to change the words of my spiritual master. I wasn't born of the last rain either! I see the reactions for that change as the Iskcon lawsuit for physical and mental abuse on women, men and children. The loss of temples will also follow ... has already started. Easy to predict for me. Their pride is the price of what they did.
The books should just be Srila Prabhupada's original. I'm sorry if I'm strongly opposing and crying for the money invested in the second version but you waisted Srila Prabhupada's energy and the price is your karma. If I don't want it mine, I will oppose to this new version.
Thank you very much and I do mean what I said.
Your servant,
M. Lilakatha devi dasi
